Dial 2-1-1 for Community Resource Information

For the most part, we are all familiar with 9-1-1, the number to call for a medical, police, fire, or other immediate emergency. Yet what about other urgent needs? How does one find housing assistance, food banks, low-cost or free medical care, legal aid, transportation help, and financial assistance for utilities or rent, mental or behavioral health needs?

Dial 2-1-1 for access to information on health and human service needs. 2-1-1 operators are available Monday-Friday, 9 a. m.-5 p. m. except for holidays. Information can also be researched online at www.win211.org.

The Washington Information Network, or WIN211 is a partnership between the

Washington State legislature and several private entities, including the United Way and other charities. For more information, visit www.win211.org.
